School Decision Making Committee (SDMC)

At Sugar Grove Academy, shared leadership and collaborative decision-making are central to our success. The School Decision Making Committee (SDMC) plays a vital role in supporting a transparent, inclusive, and strategic approach to campus planning and improvement. By bringing together diverse voices from across our school community, the SDMC ensures that the decisions we make reflect the needs, values, and aspirations of all stakeholders.

🤝 What is the SDMC?

The SDMC is a collaborative advisory group composed of administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, community members, and business partners who work together to guide the direction of our campus. This committee exists to promote open dialogue, encourage shared ownership of campus initiatives, and align decisions with HISD’s mission of providing every student with equitable access to a world-class education.
